    Nitto Denko (Taiwan) Corporation (namely "NTW"), as the first overseas investment of manufacturing base by its parent company Nitto Denko Corporation (Japan), was established in 1969 in Kaohsiung Export Processing Zone. Even though having gone through two global oil crises and the economic tsunami in 2008, Nitto Denko remains the spirit of pursuing for innovations and renovations to introduce new products to meet the market demand by establishing new manufacturing facilities and sales offices to step forward into a centennial enterprize.

    1969 Installation of the first adhesive coater in Kaoshiung Export Processing Zone. (KEPZ)
    1973 Establishiment of Singapore branch.
    1985 Installation of the first film calender.
    1988 Establishment of Nan-Tze plant, commencement of manufacturing of polarizing films for LCDs.
    1989 Sales of semiconductor encapsulating materials commenced.
    1990 Headquarters moved to Nan-Tzu plant.
    1994 Awarded ISO 9002 certification.
    1996 Commencement of PET tape production.
    1997 Awarded QS9000 certification.
    1998 Consolidation of production sites in (KEPZ) with HQ's removal.
    2000 Establishment of Taichung plant.
    Merged "Nitto Denko (East Asia) Co., Ltd.
    2003 Taiwan Nitto Optical Co., Ltd. (Namely " (TOT)"Established. (A spin-off company from Nitto Taiwan by an organiztion reform.)
    2005 Awarded ISO14001 certification.
    2009 Introduction of SPV (Surface Protection Vinyl Tape) production with the installation of coater.
    2010 Sales of NTW-made SPV commenced.
    2012 Awarded AEO (Authorized Econimic Operator) certification.
    Awarded OHSAS18001 certification.
